Winter Carnival is a tradition that dates back to 1930, Winter Carnival offers outdoor and indoor activities, including human dog sled races, ice-carvings, chili cook-offs, snow sculptures, and other events that coincide with Syracuse Winterfest.
Wednesday, Feb 20
Winter Carnival Days, 11am-2pm, Schine Atrium. Giveaways, free stuff, food and fun!
SU v. Providence, 7pm, Carrier Dome
Trivia Night sponsored by Traditions Commission, 9pm (or when the game ends), Schine 304’s, FREE-no tickets needed, get your team of 2-4 people together to win great prizes and eat snacks all while proving how much smarter you are than the other teams!
Thursday, Feb 21
Winter Carnival Days, 11am-2pm, Schine Atrium. Giveaways, free stuff, food and fun! The Girl Scouts will be here ONE DAY ONLY to sell cookies!
Chili cook off, 11am until it’s gone! HBC Patio. FREE CHILI TASTING! Submit your recipe here to win!

Totally Fabulous XI Drag Show presented by Pride Union, 8 pm, Goldstein Auditorium, $5 students with SUID, faculty and staff, $8 general public, tickets available at Schine Box Office
Glow in the Dark Skate Night, 9pm - midnight. Tennity Ice Pavilion on South Campus, free rental and entry, hot chocolate, & giveaways!
Saturday, Feb 23
SU vs. Georgetown, 4pm, Carrier Dome
FREE Laser Tag, 9pm-12am, Goldstein Auditorium, come watch a Toy Story and Toy Story 2 on our big screens in the 304s while you wait. FREE food and giveaways at the movie while they last!
